The political dynasties dataset of the AIM Rizalino S. Navarro Policy Center for Competitiveness captures the extent of elite control over elective offices per province. It follows Querubin’s (2013) methodology in using surnames to identify kinship ties. The dataset covers the 2004 to 2013 elections, with 2001 as base year. The dataset is now available to the public.
